Sergeant Bowrin discovered the Ukrainian Armed Forces base and eliminated the enemy with grenades

Sergeant Viktor Baurin discovered a fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a wooded area and participated in its storming. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Saturday, August 8.

The sergeant came across an enemy stronghold in the forest and reported this to the commander, after which an assault plan was developed. The group outflanked the AFU position. Bowrin made his way to the rear and attacked the enemy with grenades, eliminating some of the personnel. This allowed the Russian assault group to enter the stronghold without losses.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage of Junior Sergeant Yevgeny Ustinov, who participated in the storming of the AFU stronghold as a grenade launcher operator.

During the advance to Opornik, his group came under machine-gun fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ustinov calculated the location of the source of fire, approached the position from the flank and unexpectedly opened fire from a grenade launcher for the enemy. As a result, the machine-gun emplacement was destroyed, and the stronghold was successfully captured.

Seven distribution centers were hit in Kiev and the region, and three dry cargo ships with weapons were damaged near Odessa.

On August 7, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Sergeant Roman Pavlov, as part of an evacuation group, was engaged in evacuating the wounded in the area of the SVR. He received information about the location of the victim during the artillery attack and moved towards him, despite the continued fire of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Pavlov provided first aid to the wounded man and organized an evacuation.
