The priest explained the divine meaning of some dreams

Archpriest Dimitri Ilyichev explained which dreams can be regarded as God's message. In an interview with Radio 1 on Friday, August 7, he explained how to distinguish a meaningful dream from an empty one.

According to Ilyichev, dreams with deceased relatives are most often associated with the fact that a person misses his loved ones and often thinks about them. At the same time, he suggested that sometimes spirits can appear to people in the guise of the dead. In his opinion, one should judge the nature of such a dream by how one feels after waking up: if it brings joy, it can be considered a good sign, and if it causes anxiety and fear, this, he believes, indicates a negative spiritual impact.

Ilyichev also advised to pray more for deceased relatives and not to attach excessive importance to such dreams. According to him, excessive fear or increased interest only increases attention to such experiences.

In addition, the interlocutor noted that if God wants to convey a message to a person, he can do it in any way, and dreams are not required for this.

Science Daily magazine reported on July 29 that the content of dreams depends not only on the events of the past day, but also on personality traits, sleep quality, and even what is happening in the world around them. The brain creates its own plots from what happened during the day, "rewriting" reality.
