Russo-Balt has started testing an all-wheel drive van.
The Perm firm Russo-Balt has announced the start of testing an all-wheel drive version of the F20 electric van. The company shared footage from the tests on its Telegram channel on August 7.
It is stated that all Russo-Balt models in the basic version will be equipped with an all-wheel drive power plant. The van's maximum power exceeds 400 hp. According to the company, during the tests, the acceleration time of the F20 from zero to 60 km / h was 3.78 seconds, and from zero to 100 km / h — 6.7 seconds. At the same time, the van was able to successfully pass the "moose test" at a speed of 60 km/ h.

In early June, Russo-Balt reported on the preparation of the F20 for certification tests. The power reserve of the model should be about 400 km on a single battery charge. The van's body is made of stainless steel, and the angular exterior design with the distinctive design of the head optics resembles a futuristic Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck.
In March, the company announced that it was going to be certified and approved by the end of 2026, which would allow the launch of mass sales of the van in Russia. In May, Rospatent issued a patent for an industrial design of a van.
Earlier, on August 5, it was reported that the Nissan Qashqai crossover with the e-Power hybrid system entered the Guinness Book of Records, setting the record for maximum range among unplugged electrified SUVs without stopping to refuel.
