In Britain, a policewoman was bitten while suppressing anti-migrant unrest

Two policewomen were injured during the anti-migrant riots that have been taking place in British Norfolk for the second day in a row: one of them was attacked with a stone, and the other was bitten. This was reported on August 6 by Sky News TV channel with reference to law enforcement agencies.

"We will not stand by and allow violence to occur, whether it is against citizens, local residents, or police officers performing their duties," Assistant Chief Constable Julie Dean, who is responsible for coordinating police work, is quoted as saying.

It is noted that the attacks on law enforcement officers occurred in the evening, when the disgruntled British occupied a number of facilities where, in their opinion, refugees could hide. Three men aged 30, 40 and 60, respectively, were detained in connection with the incident. Of these, the youngest was released with a warning, while the rest were charged and are still being held in custody.

Witnesses said that a total of 30 to 50 people took part in the unrest, who were able to break into one of the local apartments, take the phone away from its resident and kick him out onto the street. Now the situation has returned to normal.
