In Japan, doctors covered a patient during surgery during a powerful earthquake. This was announced on August 6 by the NHK broadcasting company.

It is specified that this happened on July 28 in Kumamoto Prefecture — the natural disaster began abruptly, catching the doctors by surprise. As a result, most of the equipment and devices needed for surgical intervention fell and were damaged.

At the same time, the doctors did not leave the patient, covering him with their own bodies.

The earthquake in Japan occurred on July 28. Initially, tremors of magnitude 7.1 began to be felt there, and subsequently, after a short break, of magnitude 6.1. At least 138 people were injured in the disaster, and 38 more died. As a result of the incident, an explosion occurred in one of the Aeon Mall Kumamoto shopping centers, which caused part of the outer wall to collapse. The detonation occurred due to a possible gas leak.
