The characteristics of the VGV U70 Plus crossover for Russia have become known

The representative office of the VGV brand in Russia has announced the technical specifications of the U70 Plus crossover, which is scheduled to go on sale in September. The model will be offered in a seven-seat version, the brand's press service announced on its Telegram channel on August 6. Information on trim levels and prices will be announced later.

Under the hood of the VGV U70 Plus is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 146 hp with direct injection, conforming to the Euro-5 environmental standard. The car will be available with two types of transmissions: a six-speed manual and a seven-speed robotic with a dual wet clutch.

Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 7.5 liters/100 km. The engine is adapted to run on Ai-92 gasoline, and the fuel tank capacity is 58 liters. The design uses an independent McPherson suspension at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear. In the seven-seat version, the luggage compartment volume varies from 201 liters to 1800 liters with the seats of the second and third rows folded. The ground clearance is 200 mm. The turning radius is 5.75 m.

The VGV brand entered the Russian market at the end of 2024. Currently, the line includes U70 Pro crossovers (starting from 2.58 million rubles) and U75 Plus (starting from 3 million rubles).
