PSB will invest 35 billion rubles in the development of special technologies

PSB has created a Center for Special Technological Development, the main task of which will be operational financing and non-financial support for projects of companies developing special technology. This was announced at a meeting of the CBST Supervisory Board by the chairman of the bank, Peter Fradkov.

He said that the PSB, together with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST), is creating an ecosystem that provides civilian companies developing special technologies with all the necessary resources and tools to work in the defense sector. This approach will also allow the government to quickly obtain the necessary products and solutions "here and now".

"The financial system must now provide special technology enterprises, first of all, with a fast pace of renewal — a delay of even a few weeks can critically affect the dynamics, including the fighting," Fradkov said at a meeting of the supervisory Board of the CBST. In general, the bank is "systematically working to launch investment partnerships for the development of the industry, and the total amount of their financing until 2030 "will amount to about 35 billion rubles," he added.

He also noted that the strategic goal of the PSB in the direction of the development of special technology is the formation of an ecosystem of support for special—purpose technological projects at all stages of their development. "Financial instruments can be different, but they must cover the entire life cycle of the project. These can be grants, early—stage funds for moving from an idea, prototype to a small series, late—stage funds, large series," Fradkov specified.

The Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies is Russia's largest industry platform that unites more than 500 developers and manufacturers of unmanned systems, communications equipment, robotic complexes and other civil, special and dual—use products. The founders of the CBST are the PSB and the Nasha Pravda non-profit foundation for the support of patriotic initiatives with the support of the United Russia Party.
