Putin expressed confidence in Russia's victory in the conflict

Russia will undoubtedly win and preserve its statehood. On August 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with this thesis during a meeting with Vladimir Mashkov, Chairman of the Union of Theatrical Figures of Russia.

The head of the STD, in a conversation with the president, touched upon the topic of a special military operation and expressed confidence in the success of the country.

"Of course, it is indisputable that victory will be ours, and we will preserve both the country and our great culture," Mashkov stressed.

During the conversation, Mashkov gave a historical example, telling about the memoirs of the People's Artist of the RSFSR Stanislav Lyubshin on May 9, 1945. That day, 12-year-old Lyubshin was standing in line at a dairy store that had not opened for a long time.

"Suddenly the door opens, a happy saleswoman comes out and says: "Comrades, Victory, there will be no milk," the chairman of the STD shared the story.

Vladimir Mashkov also invited the head of state to attend the congress of the Union of Theatrical Figures.

"I will definitely do everything to make it work," Putin replied.

On July 26, Putin said that he did not doubt for a second that the special military operation (SVO) would end with Russia's victory.
