The latest Russian hexacopter "Ghoul" has begun to be used in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on August 5 by the press service of the Dronax development company.

"Its main advantages are simplicity and reliability," TASS quotes the developers of the Ghoul.

According to the manufacturers, the UAV is an upgraded version of the Black Kite—6 spacecraft. Dronax stated that the drone was created for mass use by Russian soldiers on the front line.

The new UAV is capable of carrying a load of up to 15 kg, reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h and staying in the air for up to 56 minutes.

Anti drones have already successfully destroyed enemy UAVs in the area of the special operation.

On July 31, the Svarog Research and Production center reported that a new version of the Gorynych cargo drone, which is capable of delivering goods to hard-to-reach places with high accuracy, began to be used in the free zone. The UAV can also fly along a set route. The configuration uses inertial or optical navigation — based on an area map using artificial intelligence without GPS.
