ISU demanded a photo of figure skater Lazarev's costumes for admission to the Grand Prix

The International Skating Union (ISU) has requested images of the competitive clothes of figure skater Lev Lazarev before confirming his participation in the Grand Prix series. This was announced on August 5 by the athlete's coach Sergey Davydov.

According to the mentor, the organizers of the tournament have put forward a number of additional conditions. For example, they demanded to send photos of costumes. Now the team continues to prepare for the launches.

"Perhaps the organizers are worried that they won't have any flag colors or something else that they might consider a violation of the rules for neutral athletes," Davydov said in an interview with RT.

So far, we are talking about competing in speed skating, figure skating and short track in a neutral status.

Kamila Valieva's coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya announced on August 4 that the Russian figure skater does not plan to compete at the Challenger Kinoshita Group Cup tournament in Japan. Prior to that, it was reported that Russian figure skaters Alexandra Trusova and Maria Zakharova could take part in the competition.
