Traber Danilenko's business partner pleaded not guilty in the murder case

Businessman Ilya Traber's business partner, Vladimir Danilenko, pleads not guilty in the contract killing case. This was reported to Izvestia on August 5 by his lawyer Arman Jarakian.

He also added that he would appeal Danilenko's arrest in the cassation instance. Earlier, the court recognized the lawful arrest of the defendants in the case, Said Saladinov and Danilenko.

On June 18, the Basmanny Court of Moscow placed under arrest for two months two defendants in the criminal case of contract killings, in which Traber was previously arrested. Later, Saladinov's defense appealed against his arrest.

Traber was detained on June 17 in St. Petersburg. The businessman was charged in the case of the murder of a deputy of the Leningrad region under paragraphs "g" and paragraph "h" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder of two or more persons by an organized group for mercenary motives") and part 4 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal arms trafficking by an organized group").

Later, he was taken from St. Petersburg to Moscow for investigative actions in a criminal case of murder. In recent years, Traber himself has managed port assets in Primorsk and Ust-Luga.
