The European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom can follow the example of Russia by learning from its migration policy. This was announced on August 5 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

So he commented on the remark of a social network user who noted that migrants with a criminal record are prohibited from obtaining Russian citizenship and the right to reside in the country.

"The EU and the UK should learn from Russia," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) added that European bureaucrats, along with British politicians and traditional media, ignored warnings about the destruction of Western civilization by pursuing a suicidal migration policy.

"And only the photos from Ceuta have exposed their sinister nature," Dmitriev said.

On the same day, Dmitriev noted that illegal migrants from Morocco are seeking deeper into the EU in order to thank the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen for her pro-immigrant policy.

Also on July 30, he compared the influx of migrants from Morocco to Ceuta with the barbarian siege of Rome in 410. The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund attached to the publication an image of a painting by Thomas Cole "The Wreck" from the cycle "The Path of Empire" and an actual photo from Ceuta.
