Honest Sign blocked more than 70 thousand bottles of drinks from Armenia

The Honest Sign labeling system has suspended the sale of more than 70,000 bottles of drinking water and carbonated drinks produced in Armenia. This was announced on August 4 by the press service of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT, operator of Honest Sign).

"The CRPT <...> has suspended the sale of more than 70,000 bottles of drinking water and carbonated drinks [from Armenia]. The reason was the revealed violations by manufacturers of mandatory product requirements," TASS cites the text of the statement.

The restrictions affected individual shipments of BJNI therapeutic and canteen mineral water, natural drinking water "Just Abc", including children's, as well as the soft drink "Mojito" of the DARBAS trademark. The CRPT clarified that we are talking only about products released on certain dates. The rest of the products from these manufacturers are not affected by the blocking.

"At the moment, the sale of the batches indicated by Rospotrebnadzor is prohibited in retail and online channels until all necessary checks are completed," said Revaz Yusupov, Deputy General Director of the Central Research Institute.

According to him, the integration of the labeling system with cash registers allows you to automatically stop the sale of such goods. Since the beginning of 2026, 48 million bottles of expired water and other violations have also been prevented from being sold with the help of an Honest Sign.
