The police in Tula are conducting an investigation into a major fraud against a 37-year-old woman. The victim lost more than 8.8 million rubles.

According to Tulyachka, the scammers contacted her on social media. They promised a high return on "investments." The victim agreed to transfer a large sum to an outside bank account. After the transfer, the false brokers stopped communicating, TSN24 writes.

In total, four cases of fraud have been registered in the Tula region over the past 24 hours. The victims were citizens aged 37 to 51 years. The total damage exceeded 9.4 million rubles.

In the Kamchatka Territory, an 80-year-old woman gave 1.8 million rubles to fraudsters. The pensioner handed over the money in cash to the courier.
