An eyewitness told about the attack of a Ukrainian UAV on Arkhipo-Osipovka in Gelendzhik

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) purposefully attacked a gazebo with people in Arkhipo-Osipovka. This was reported to Izvestia on August 3 by one of the victims of the incident.

According to the man, he was in the company of four people when the drone started flying straight towards their gazebo and hit the table. An eyewitness noted that his friend is currently in intensive care.

"My friend is in intensive care right now. <...> Our girls have small fragments, a pneumothorax in one lung, so far everything is fine," he said.

Medical care is currently being provided at Gelendzhik City Hospital to 18 victims, including three children. The chief physician of the medical institution, Sergey Ermakov, said that the patients were mostly diagnosed with mine-blast injuries.

Ermakov stressed that the staff of the city hospital and doctors from Arkhipo-Osipovka began to provide first aid to the wounded from the first minutes after the incident. He also added that specialists from regional centers provide patients with the necessary psychological support.

On the same day, the wreckage of a Ukrainian drone fell in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka near Gelendzhik. The governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that the civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of the incident. A special disaster medicine team and eight ambulance crews were sent to Arkhipo-Osipovka. An operational headquarters has been deployed at the scene of the incident.

A primary care center has been opened in the Arkhipo-Osipovka district hospital. To strengthen the work, medical workers from the city hospital, as well as specialists from one of the sanatoriums, were sent to local doctors.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, speaking to Izvestia about the attack on Gelendzhik, said that NATO and the European Union, which are actively sponsoring Ukraine, have themselves become part of an international terrorist network. According to her, they allow the terrorist gang that seized power in Ukraine to "operate in the center of Europe."
