An employee of a medical institution in Sweden was fired 47 seconds after the start of the first working day. This was reported by the Daily Star newspaper on July 28.

"The incident occurred in Stockholm County, Sweden, at a medical facility for the elderly. The next day, it became known to the public. It is reported that the dismissed employee has filed a complaint with the Swedish Ombudsman for Equality," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, before employment, the employee warned that he could experience severe stress in an unfamiliar environment. On his first day at work, he couldn't find a locker room, after which he had a panic attack.

The employee informed the supervisor about this and asked for a few minutes to recover. However, during a 47-second phone conversation, his manager informed him of his dismissal. It is clarified that the employee did not receive a written notice of termination of the employment contract and asked for an audit against the employer.
