The share of Chinese cars in the Russian fleet exceeded 7%
As of the beginning of July 2026, there were 3.43 million Chinese-made passenger cars in Russia. The share of Chinese—made cars accounted for 7.2% of the total number of passenger cars in Russia - now almost every 14th car in the country belongs to the Chinese brand. This was reported by the analytical agency Autostat on July 31.
The most common car brand from China in the Russian Federation is Haval, which accounts for 20% of all registered cars of Chinese brands or 690.2 thousand copies.
Chery ranks second in this indicator (662.5 thousand units), and Geely ranks third (576 thousand units). Changan and Lifan are next (270.9 thousand and 151.3 thousand units, respectively). Three more brands also crossed the 100 thousand mark — Great Wall (137.4 thousand units), Exeed (136.1 thousand units) and Omoda (133.7 thousand units).
Among the Chinese models, the Haval Jolion is most often found on the roads, with a fleet of 275.4 thousand units by the middle of this year. Next in terms of fleet volume are the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossovers (132.1 thousand units), Geely Monjaro (122.5 thousand units) and Geely Coolray (113.6 thousand units). In addition to them, Haval F7 (105.4 thousand units), Omoda C5 (104.9 thousand units) and Chery Tiggo 4 overcame the milestone of 100 thousand units. Pro (102.6 thousand units).
As reported on July 29, according to the results of the first half of 2026, the number of visits by Chinese cars to car services increased by 51% year on year. Last year, during this period, the number of car arrivals at the network's car services amounted to 25.3 thousand, this year it was 38.2 thousand. The average check for Chinese cars in the first half of the year amounted to 9,787 rubles (+5%).
