Zelensky acknowledged the large number of missing Ukrainian militants

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered significant losses during the conflict with Russia. This was announced on July 29 by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

"I'm sorry, to be honest, I don't want to be too explicit about this issue, because the Russians will understand what is happening to our army. We have about 50,000 dead soldiers, as well as about 400,000 wounded," Zelensky said in an interview with Fox News.

He also noted that a large number of soldiers remain missing in the Ukrainian army. At the same time, the President of Ukraine stressed that it is currently difficult to give exact figures.

The Ombudsman stressed that she receives a large number of requests from relatives. According to her, messages are constantly coming with questions about the inclusion of specific people in the exchange lists.
