The scientist declared a one hundred percent probability of intelligent life beyond the Earth

The probability of intelligent life outside of planet Earth is 100%. This was stated on July 30 by Mikhail Volkov, a leading researcher at the Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in an interview with the Documentary Cinema portal.

"It has been proven that the probability of detecting an electron at any point in space is one. There is a one hundred percent chance that intelligent life exists somewhere. If the universe is infinite, then it's silly to think that we are unique. The problem is that intelligent beings are so far away that it is impossible for them to reach Earth, as well as for us to reach their planet," said Volkov.

According to him, scientists have been working to prove the hypothesis that it was the decay of radioactive elements in the early stages of the Earth's development that created the necessary conditions for chemical evolution and the formation of the first organic molecules. According to the researchers, the radiation contributed to the brightening of the oceans, which allowed the process of photosynthesis to start. This led to the emergence of the simplest organisms, which later evolved into complex multicellular forms.

In addition, Volkov pointed out the prospects for the existence of life on other celestial bodies, in particular on Jupiter's moon Europa. Scientists note that the giant planet is a source of strong radiation, but a massive layer of ice on the satellite shields this radiation.

At the same time, the expert stressed that radiation is an absolutely natural process on the planet, without which life would not have originated. Speaking about fears of radioactive radiation, Volkov noted that cinema often contributes to this.

"The Marvel cinematic universe is discouraging in this sense. A certain inventor Tony Stark in "Iron Man 2" creates a new chemical element — in our reality, as shown in the picture, it is impossible to do this. I have never seen films on this topic without fakes," the expert added.
