The Belarusian Belji automobile plant has produced 200 thousand cars.

The 200-thousandth car was produced at the Belji automobile plant in Belarus. This is stated in the company's press service, which was received by Izvestia on July 30. The anniversary model was the Belgee X50+ urban crossover in the Prestige package, painted metallic blue.

The Belgee brand is currently represented in Russia by three models. These are the X50+, the X70 mid-size crossover, and the S50 urban sedan. All of them are manufactured at the Belji factory and are based on cars of the Chinese brand Geely.

A year ago, a major modernization was completed on the company's production lines, which was aimed at improving product quality, increasing production capacity to meet growing demand, as well as introducing modern technologies to improve production efficiency and environmental friendliness.

Construction of a stamping workshop with an area of 5,000 square meters is currently underway at the plant, where it is planned to produce large-sized external body elements, including front and rear doors, sidewalls, fenders, trunk lids, hoods, roofs, and other parts, Belji said.

The company also shared that the Belgee X50+, which started selling in Russia in March 2026, sold more than 7,000 copies in four months.

Earlier, on June 10, it was reported that the compact crossover Belgee X50 left the Russian car market. Sales of the Belgee X50, which is based on the Chinese Geely Coolray, started in Russia in September 2023. The model was in high demand among Russians and regularly became one of the market's bestsellers.
