On August 2, the Timiryazev State Biological Museum and the Biocluster will host a thematic program dedicated to World Cat Day. This was announced on Wednesday, July 29, by the press service of the Moscow Department of Culture.
Scientific lectures, master classes, quizzes, excursions and quests were prepared for the guests. In addition, an exhibition of cats from the city shelter "Take me Home" will be held in Pavilion No. 31 "Geology" at VDNH, where visitors will be able to take their pet home.
The museum on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street will host a quiz "Record-breaking Cats", a master class "Fluffy Pictures", as well as scientific dialogues "How a man tamed a cat" and "Non-feline cats", the Moscow City News agency reports.
A lecture "Cats: Heroes and Villains", an exhibition on animal husbandry and a quiz "About cats - big and small" are planned at the Biocluster at VDNH. The Beekeeping pavilion will also host guided tours of Fluffy Bugs and a demonstration of insects under a microscope.
