Damage to hunting resources in Transbaikalia exceeded 1 million rubles

Since the beginning of 2026, 904 raids have been conducted in Transbaikalia to protect wildlife. The total damage to hunting resources exceeded 1 million rubles, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment reports.

The inspectors checked 2,521 hunters. 17 illegally obtained products and 16 firearms were seized.

252 violations of environmental legislation were also identified and 250 administrative protocols were drawn up. Six materials were handed over to law enforcement officers.

The authorized bodies reviewed 183 cases of administrative offenses. Another 62 cases were sent to court. The attackers have already reimbursed 920 thousand rubles.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, fines totaling 132.5 thousand rubles have been imposed since the beginning of the year. 98.5 thousand rubles were recovered from them.
