The Peredelkino House of Creativity, together with the Huawei Pura90s smartphone series, will hold a residency for photographers and artists "Closer than it seems."

The event will bring together experts working with documentary, natural and architectural photography. The residence will be open for seven days, starting on August 23, under the supervision of photographer and gallery owner Nina Gomiashvili.

"The true art of photography is born from the photographer's ability to see what others are passing by. Today, this innate gift takes on a new lease of life: the precision of optics allows you to change the scale of perception without disturbing the silence and peace of the moment. We can stand aside, remaining unnoticed observers, and at the same time see the world in those minute, almost weightless details that usually escape the surface gaze. It's not just shooting, it's a meditative gaze, where the intuition of the master and the work of optics merge into a single artistic statement," Gomiashvili said.

Eight photographers were selected to participate in the residency. They will receive Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max and Huawei Pura 90s Pro flagship smartphones for the duration of the project: they will shoot the House of Creativity and the Writers' Town using zoom. The older model is equipped with a 200 MP telephoto lens with an ultra-large sensor, which allows you to get detailed images of objects even at a great distance.

Every day, residents will gather and discuss their work, and choose the best shots of the day. Everyone will be able to observe this process and ask a question to the photographers. A lecture on mobile photographers will also be held for a wide audience as part of the residence. The results of the event will be presented in September on a separate landing page based on pro-peredelkino.org , where a digital archive of the project with photos, videos and a "diary of observations" will appear.
