In Tula, an unknown man tried to kill a local businessman. This was reported on July 29 in the channel of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Tula region.

"The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tula region have opened a criminal case on the attempted murder of an entrepreneur, on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the report says.

It is specified that the incident occurred at the entrance of an apartment building on Mikheeva Street. An unidentified person fired several shots at a Tula businessman with a firearm. The victim survived and was hospitalized in a medical facility.

Currently, an investigative task force is continuing to work at the scene. The investigators are carrying out the necessary actions aimed at establishing the identity and location of the perpetrators of the crime, as well as clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.

According to the Izvestia source, an attempt was made on the director of the company for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, Andrei Cherezov. He returned home after work at about one o'clock in the morning. The attack occurred at the moment when the man was opening the door to his apartment.

The businessman's wife, who was inside the building, allegedly heard three shots. At the same time, the woman noted that she had not seen the man who opened fire on her husband.
