The official website has published the business program of the XI Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on September 1-4 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus. The main theme of the forum is "The Far East — development for the benefit of people." The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The Eastern Economic Forum, which is being held on behalf of the head of state, has become one of the most effective tools for the development of the Far East. The Forum remains a key platform for developing breakthrough solutions and concluding major investment agreements that will change the lives of thousands of Far Easterners and Northerners for the better. The Far Eastern mortgage and the Hectare program, a large-scale renovation project for 25 Far Eastern cities, rental housing construction programs, and the creation and development of new preferential regimes began with the WEF. Largely thanks to the WEF, almost 3,000 investment projects with investments of 6.5 trillion rubles are being implemented in the Far East, more than 1,100 enterprises have been commissioned, and more than 180,000 jobs have been created. I am confident that this forum will be as fruitful as the previous ones," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The business program will include more than 70 sessions divided into five thematic tracks: "Living and working in the Far East", "Mechanisms for attracting private investment", "The Far East is the pole of international cooperation", "Technologies of the present and future", "Logistics and infrastructure for economic growth".

"The world is undergoing a global socio-economic transformation. The configuration of international cooperation is changing, and the mechanisms and tools of economic development, which were relevant quite recently, are now losing their effectiveness. In accordance with global trends and national priorities, Russia is rebuilding its economy, social sphere, and public administration. The program of the Eastern Economic Forum is traditionally designed to bring together representatives of government, business and the expert community to form cutting-edge solutions in all sectors. This year it reflects such important areas as the achievement of technological sovereignty, the development of international cooperation, the formation of a sustainable economic space and other topics. I am convinced that the result of the work within the framework of the WEF will be the development of relevant solutions that will be part of Russia's long—term development strategy and ensure leadership in all key areas," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the WEF Organizing Committee.

Within the framework of the track "Living and working in the Far East", the implementation of master plans for 25 cities of the Far East, the construction of rental housing, demographic programs of the macroregion, the development of science and other topics will be discussed. The participants of the thematic sessions will discuss the formation of a new unified territory of advanced development in the Far East, the introduction of "people's" bonds and digital financial assets to finance regional projects and the development of the Eastern Financial Center, as well as mechanisms for attracting capital to the regions through stock market instruments. Among the priorities are the prospects of the mining and processing industries, increasing the tourist attractiveness of the Far East.
