WP has learned about the lack of discussions between Trump and Netanyahu on the issue of Mount Pickax

The issue of Mount Pickax in Iran was not discussed during the meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump. This was announced on July 28 by the head of the Department of Public Diplomacy in the office of the Israeli Prime Minister, Tzipi Hotovely.

"The issue of Mount Pickax was not raised," The Washington Post (WP) quoted her as saying.

Earlier in the day, Trump said that the United States would destroy Iran's nuclear facility inside the Pickax Mountain range if a peace deal with Tehran was not concluded.

A day earlier, The New York Post newspaper, citing sources, reported that Netanyahu, at a meeting with Trump, could transfer intelligence information to the American leader about Iran's buildup of nuclear facilities at the Mount Pickax facility. It was claimed that Israeli intelligence agencies allegedly recorded the arrival of nuclear centrifuges at the secret facility for the first time since construction began in 2020.
