Pediatric rehabilitologist Ekaterina Pasnova on Tuesday, July 28, told how to teach a child to a healthy lifestyle.
In an interview with Radio 1, the specialist noted that the foundations of a healthy lifestyle begin to form even before the birth of a child, and the main role in this is played by the family. The specialist emphasized that children should see a positive example of their parents from the very first days of life.
Pasnova pointed out that a proper daily routine, balanced diet and physical activity help maintain health and reduce the risk of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, as well as problems with bones and joints.
In addition, the doctor reminded about the importance of proper sleep. According to her, children are recommended to sleep at least 8-9 hours, go to bed between 21:00 and 22:00 and adhere to a constant regime. She advised against using gadgets before going to bed, as they worsen the quality of rest.
Oncologist Andrey Kaprin said on July 24 that following the principles of healthy lifestyle, giving up bad habits, regular physical activity and undergoing preventive examinations can significantly reduce the likelihood of developing cancer. In particular, it is necessary to maintain a normal body weight, writes RT.
