The Russian Embassy in Japan has not received information about the victims and Russian citizens affected by the earthquake in the country. This was reported to Izvestia on July 28 by the Russian diplomatic mission.
"Information about the dead or injured on the islandRussians from Kyushu did not apply to the Russian Embassy in Japan," the diplomatic mission said.
On the same day, NHK reported that more than 50 people were injured in the earthquake in Japan. In addition, 12 cases of house collapses, damage to roads and bridges were recorded, as well as four incidents when people were trapped in buildings.
