In Yakutia, humanitarian aid was delivered to settlements affected by the flood. 1,565 kg of cargo was transported by helicopter to the villages of Verkhoyansky district: basic necessities, drinking water, medicines, warm clothes and basic necessities.

The head of the republican government Kirill Bychkov and the Minister of Civil Defense and Ensuring the Safety of the Population Dmitry Lepchikov arrived there, writes IA YakutiaMedia.

They visited socially significant facilities in the village of Suordakh, assessed the consequences of flooding and talked with local residents. Lepchikov visited the sites of emergency work and talked with rescuers who are eliminating the consequences of the flood.

According to the decision of the operational headquarters, five more rescuers were additionally deployed to the villages of Dulgalakh and Swordy. The hydrological situation is monitored around the clock. Some residents had to be evacuated due to the threat of further rising water. Temporary accommodation facilities have been set up for them.

24 people, including 17 children, were evacuated in Verkhoyansk district. The emergency mode is saved.

Earlier it was reported that in Yakutia, on the federal highway R-504 Kolyma, the consequences of a rain flood are being eliminated. Traffic on the section from the village of Teply Klyuch to the village of Ust-Nera has remained closed since July 26. This is due to a security risk.

An emergency mode was introduced in the village of Saydy in the Aeginsky Nasleg in the Verkhoyansky district. The reason is the sudden rise of water in the Bytantai River. 48 yards were flooded, including 31 residential buildings. A high-alert regime has been in effect in Nasleg since July 20. On July 23, the water began to flood the sites. The authorities have decided to introduce an emergency regime.
