In the Vyborg district of St. Petersburg, a fire was extinguished - in the early morning, a fire engulfed a two—room apartment on Rashetova Street. Vladimir, a local resident, told Izvestia about this on July 28.

"Everyone was running around, shouting, knocking, it's morning — everyone was asleep. They thought someone was bullying, but no, it turned out to be a fire. It already smelled like smoke seriously, neighbors were coming out with things from the upper floors," he said.

Vladimir added that the tenant of the burnt—out apartment was uncommunicative and rarely appeared at home - the neighbors met him no more than a couple of times a month. Another local resident, Evgenia, called her neighbor unsociable and unfriendly. She explained that the apartment in which the fire occurred was rented to him by a couple with many children.

The balcony of the room was completely burned out, and part of the damaged structure collapsed to the ground. Neighbors noted that firefighters promptly responded to the call. 20 people were evacuated from the house, as a result of the incident, no one was injured.
