All the automobile filling stations (gas stations) that were based on the section of the Kharkiv—Poltava highway in Ukraine were destroyed. This was announced on July 27 by deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council Alexander Skorik.

"As of today, all gas stations <...> in the area from Kharkov to Poltava have been completely destroyed. <...> The last gas station that was still operating in the village of Valki was destroyed on July 26," he said in an interview with Espreso TV.

Skorik urged fellow citizens who have to overcome this section of the road to take care of fuel supplies in advance. In total, as he explained, 200 gas stations were affected, of which 80 were in the Kharkiv region.

On July 21, Ukrainian media reported that Russian military personnel had attacked a gas station in Sumy. The affected object, called Marshal, was used by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The attack disrupted the supply of Ukrainian troops in this sector of the front.
