Stories appeared in the "Max" messenger

The Russian messenger "Max" has a feature for stories. This was announced on July 27 by the press service of the platform.

Android users can now post photo and video stories, edit them, add text, and choose who gets access to the publication.

You can create a story in the "Chats" section by clicking on the "+" icon next to your profile photo. The author can configure the display time of the publication, statistics of views and reactions. Viewers will be able to respond to stories and put reactions.

To access the new feature, you must install the latest version of the app from the RuStore store.

The stories appeared in Maks in test mode in early July. More than 100 authors and opinion leaders took part in the test, including family blogger Denis Kukoyaka, singer Grigory Leps, sports influencer Alexey Stolyarov, editor-in-chief of the Regnum news agency Marina Akhmedova, military commander Alexander Kots and singer Anita Tsoi.

On July 15, Farit Khusnoyarov, CEO of Max, told Izvestia that 7 million people have already installed the mobile web version of the messenger for the iOS operating system. He stressed that the developers managed to restore the sending of notifications for iPhone owners. To do this, users need to launch the application in the browser and confirm the corresponding request.
