Five residential buildings and one of the sanatoriums were damaged in the village of Simeiz near Yalta as a result of mudflows. This was announced on July 25 by the head of the city administration, Yanina Pavlenko.
"I visited the affected houses on Baranova Street (there are five of them), talked to people. We keep in touch through the territorial authorities," she wrote on the Telegram channel.
Before the territory is cleared, the owners independently put the housing in order, and general cleaning is scheduled for the next morning. Pavlenko also reported that serious damage had been caused to one of the village's sanatoriums. The staff of the institution and vacationers have already begun to eliminate the consequences.
In addition, the head of Yalta visited the assistance center deployed in the building of the territorial authority, where she talked with local residents and tourists.
In Tatarstan, heavy rains led to the collapse of a section of the 41st km of the Sarmanovo-Naberezhnye Chelny highway. According to the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic, the emergency occurred on the morning of July 17. According to the agency, there are no victims. Seven people and five pieces of equipment worked to eliminate the consequences.
