Citizens with thirty years of work experience in the agricultural sector have the legal right to receive a 25% supplement to a fixed payment as part of an insurance pension. This was recalled on July 25 by Nikolai Novichok, a deputy of the State Duma from the Fair Russia faction..

"First of all, it should be borne in mind that rural allowances are not available to all pensioners living in the countryside. Recipients of an old-age or disability insurance pension who do not work, have at least 30 years of agricultural experience and lived in rural areas can count on it when the payment was established. The payment itself is 25% of the fixed part of the pension," the parliamentarian said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The deputy explained that the preferential length of service includes work in the fields of crop production, animal husbandry and fish farming, and for periods of work on collective farms or state farms before January 1, 1992, the name of the position does not matter. Novichok recommended that citizens independently request a length of service calculation from the Social Fund, rather than refusing payments in advance. He also stressed that in case of delays in calculating the increase, the most effective step would be to personally apply through the Gosuslugi portal, multifunctional centers (MFC) or territorial offices of the fund, since automatic recalculation does not always occur.

Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for public control and handling of citizens' appeals, noted on July 17 that the increase in the minimum wage does not affect pensions already awarded, but it may play a role in shaping future payments. He clarified that the salary increase leads to an increase in contributions to the Social Fund.

Tatyana Golubeva, senior lecturer at the Department of Business, Labor and Corporate Law at the Presidential Academy, announced on July 16 that starting from August 1, payments to working pensioners, group I disabled people and persons over the age of 80 will be indexed in Russia. According to the expert, an annual recalculation of insurance pensions will be carried out for working pensioners, based on contributions received in 2025.
