Italian Defense Minister Crosetto offered Fedorov the position of adviser
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto offered Mikhail Fedorov, who was recently dismissed from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the position of adviser in Italy. This was reported by Reuters on July 25.
"I called him the day after he was fired and asked: "When do you want to come to Rome and work with me as an advisor?" — the agency transmits Crosetto's words.
When asked about Fedorov's reaction, Crosetto replied that the ex-minister was "touched" and took the offer as "a sign of respect and friendship."
On July 15, Fedorov confirmed his resignation with a farewell message. The Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported that Zelensky on the same day announced the existence of a protracted conflict between the Minister of Defense and the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky.
