A "tree" was planted in Blagoveshchensk to collect plastic

A new art object was installed in Blagoveshchensk. An eco-tree for collecting plastic lids has appeared on the territory of the Dobrota center.

The art object is part of the "Algae Cover" campaign. It should become a point of attraction for those who want to protect nature.

PriamurMedia news agency was told in GBU "Ecology" that previously plastic lids were collected in special compartments, but now a single point has been created. Recyclables can be brought not only by the staff of the center, but also by all citizens.

According to Oksana Podkorytova, the head of the center, the Organization participates in this action every year. This year we decided to order a form in the form of a tree and install it on the territory of the center. Roofs are left not only by visitors to the center and all concerned citizens.

The agency clarifies that "Algae cover" is a regional environmental campaign. Residents and organizations collect plastic caps for recycling. The goal of the project is to provide real help to nature. The organizers expect that the proceeds from the collection of caps will allow the release of carp fry into the Amur rivers. Fish helps to restrain the growth of algae and improve the condition of the reservoir.

In early May, it was reported that 70,000 Siberian sturgeon fry, listed in the Red Book of the region, were released into the Chara River in the Kalarsky District of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The process of growing to the required weight of 2 g takes place in a specialized fish hatchery in Chita.
