In the Indian state of Rajasthan, a leopard attacked three people, after which it wandered into an alcohol market and was blocked there until the arrival of specialists. This was announced by NDTV on July 21.

The incident occurred in the city of Todaraisingh. The predator came out of the forest and first attacked a volunteer of the forest service Rakesh Mali, who went to inspect the bushes after the signals of local residents. The animal injured the man's legs, after which it ran about 400 m towards the market.

According to eyewitnesses, at the entrance to the liquor store, a leopard attacked 40-year-old Fateh Lal Kohli, and then broke into the premises. There, the predator attacked 25-year-old salesman Sanjay Gurjar. The man suffered wounds to his nose and back, but managed to run outside.

The eyewitnesses promptly closed the metal blinds of the store from the outside, blocking the beast inside. All the injured were taken to medical institutions. Due to the severity of their injuries, Gurjar and Kolya were transferred to a specialized medical center.

"It was an adult male. I have participated in more than 60 wildlife rescue operations, but this is the first time I have had to retrieve a leopard from a liquor store," said Ashok Tanwar, head of the rescue operation.

In December last year, a raccoon broke into a closed liquor store in Virginia (USA), started a pogrom, drank alcohol and fell asleep in the staff toilet. The animal crawled through the ceiling tiles and staged a "full-scale debacle", smashing bottles of whiskey and scotch. As a result of the incident, part of the ceiling also collapsed. In addition, the raccoon drank all the alcohol that spread across the floor. The animal, trapped inside the store, eventually fell asleep in the toilet.
