A NATO drone signaled a communication failure after flying over the Black Sea

The Northrop Grumman RQ-4D Phoenix strategic reconnaissance drone of NATO transmitted a signal about problems in the communication system after flying over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. This was announced on July 21 by the Air traffic Control Service of the European Union (EU).

"The drone is located over the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea near the island of Crete, where it is moving along a square—shaped trajectory and at the same time sends a signal about communication problems," TASS reports.
