More than 150 balconies were declared emergency in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, 157 balconies of high-rise buildings were declared emergency. This year, 21 apartment buildings were included in the capital repair plan. A full cycle of design and estimate documentation has been completed for them, and financing issues have been resolved.

As told 78.ru the city housing committee, the rest of the facilities are still under investigation, the documents for them are not ready. They will be included in the overhaul plan as soon as they are ready and sufficiently funded.

The experts explained that the balcony can be recognized as an emergency on the basis of a technical inspection by a special organization that is a member of a self-regulatory organization. If it is an object of cultural heritage, the organization must have a license from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that the Perm Region will receive 2.2 billion rubles from the federal Territorial Development Fund. The funds will be used to resettle citizens from emergency housing. The financing is carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The funds will allow to resettle more than 3 thousand people. 1.78 billion rubles will be allocated to federal funds from regional and municipal budgets.
