In the Belgorod region, nine people were killed and 77 injured during the day due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Over the past day, nine people were killed and 77 others were injured as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region. This was announced on July 21 by Acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev.

"Yesterday was an extremely difficult day, unprecedented in terms of the number of dead and injured from enemy attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. <...> We lost nine people. <... 77 people were injured, among whom [there is] a minor," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the dead were identified both in Belgorod itself, as well as in the Belgorod and Shebekinsky districts. They also included a child. People who were injured as a result of the incident were admitted to medical institutions from Belgorod, as well as Belgorod, Grayvoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Prokhorovsky, Rakityansky and Shebekinsky districts.

According to Shuvaev, among the victims who are already receiving qualified assistance, there are also seriously injured. He stated that he keeps the situation under his personal control. The acting head of the Belgorod region also expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
