According to her, any physical activity, even walking or housework, is cardio. At the same time, pickleball can be considered an interval training of moderate intensity: during the game, breathing and pulse rate increase, but with a moderate load, a person is still able to talk calmly. With longer and more intensive classes, it becomes more difficult to speak.
The doctor stressed that people with cardiovascular diseases need to undergo a medical examination before starting training. It will allow you to assess cardiovascular risks, the level of physical fitness and determine whether the expected load corresponds to the state of health.
For beginners, the specialist recommended increasing the duration and intensity of training gradually, adding a few minutes to each session. In addition, in hot weather, it should be borne in mind that the body requires more resources for cooling, so the tolerance of physical exertion may decrease.
