VK Fest 2026 gathered hundreds of thousands of people in four Russian cities

The festival tour ended on July 18 and 19 in Moscow at the VDNH. For a month and a half, VK Fest was attended by hundreds of thousands of guests in Kazan, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. More than 300 performers, musical groups, bloggers and celebrities performed on the festival stages.

VK Fest gathered 85 thousand people in Moscow. Tickets for both days were sold out before the opening. The broadcast from the capital gained 18 million views.

"This year, VK Fest has confirmed the title of the largest media festival in Russia. We don't stop liking the endless stream of your viral videos, stories, and posts — there are hundreds and thousands of them. This dedication shows that we really create trends, give you reasons for news, memes and just cool content. VK Fest in Moscow was attended by 85,000 people in two days," said Zoya Novikova, head of VK Fest.

The Moscow festival has set a record for the number of secret guests. They became Vanya Dmitrienko, Dima Bilan, Basta, and the secret artist of the electronic scene turned out to be POLICE IN PARIS, a Belarusian hard techno duo.

This year's blue carpet included three zones: a secular fashion show, challenges for the stars and an interview with Alyona Blin. The celebrities didn't know which zone they would be in.: it was decided randomly on the site. Among the stars on the Blue Carpet were Katya Lel, Timati, Natasha Koroleva, Prokhor Chaliapin, Oksana Samoilova, Detsla's son Tony Tolmatsky, Victoria Lopyreva, Azamat Musagaliev. Alexey Zhidkovsky surprised the audience with a new look: a beard, sunglasses and a short haircut. Alexandra Trusova and Makar Ignatov took to the track with their one-year-old child. Gluck'OZA appeared in a cosmic image: with a "bald" head, a hoop around her neck and in an alien costume.

Football player Ruslan Nigmatullin and his wife Evelina Syncha held a gender party: together with the audience, they learned that they would have a daughter. Larisa Dolina sang "The Weather in the House" on the Blue Carpet, and Natasha Koroleva and Gazan unexpectedly performed the main hit of the alpha generation — "Six-Seven".

Other collaborations were waiting for the visitors for two days.: they took place on different stages of the festival. Singer Valeria also joined the performance — they performed a spirited funk version of the track "Airplane". During the OG Buda set, Toxi$ joined him on stage. They presented a joint program. On the Purple Stage, Khmyrov, along with his most loyal fans, performed the track "Coach" in a lamp setting — only with a guitar.

More than 400 festival participants have prepared entertainment for visitors of all ages. Families with children played at the stands of the films "The Last Hero. Kolobok" and "Cheburashka 3", jumped on trampolines, visited pools with balls and foam cubes, as well as the magician's arena. Visitors saw Russian unmanned trucks, an Atom electric car and racing cars. Video game enthusiasts were the first to appreciate the releases of new products in the gaming industry and one of the oldest consoles: the video game console was released almost 50 years ago, but it still works.

Famous artists, athletes and experts participated in the discussions of the VK Lecture Hall. Artemy Lebedev discussed with the team of the first Russian electric car Atom how the car turns into a gadget. PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov and his wife, influencer Marina Kondratyuk, talked about sports and the balance between work and relationships. Performers from different generations shared with the head of VK Fest Zoya Novikova how to create hits. Daria Dontsova, Anna Egoyan and Georgy Alansky discussed literature and poetry. Ilya Averbukh and Elizaveta Arzamasova, Timur Rodriguez and Katya Kabak shared the secrets of a strong family.

55 celebrities performed, communicated with the audience and signed autographs in the influencer zone. VLAD A4, Masha Milash, Milana Khametova, Artur Babich, Without Toys, Maria Yankovskaya, Karina Murashkina, ASLAN SHUKASHA, Gazan, JAN TOPLESS, Kobyakov and other influencers met with their fans.

VK Fest was broadcast in the official community of the festival. It was watched by more than 18 million people. The broadcast in Russian sign language has gathered more than half a million views.

VK Fest gathered 70,000 guests and more than 80 artists in St. Petersburg. t.A.T.u., MOTH, FEDUK, Lolita and other stars performed. The secret guest and headliner of the second day was Vanya Dmitrienko. On stage, 12 married couples were awarded, whose story began at the first VK Fest in 2015. In addition to music, the guests enjoyed dozens of autograph sessions with bloggers, CS2 and Dota 2 cyber tournaments, an extreme park and a beach area on the shores of the Gulf of Finland with yachting, hiking and beach sports.

A Tatar stage was opened in Kazan, where local performers and musical groups performed. The wedding took place on the same stage: the couple met on VKontakte, so they decided to get married at VK Fest. The guests participated in traditional Sabantuy games, tested VR simulators with driving simulators, mastered DJing, scratched on a vinyl player and created beats, participated in master classes and discussions in the lecture hall.

VK Fest was held in Nizhny Novgorod for the first time — all 18 thousand tickets were sold. A foam disco and battles with water cannons saved visitors from the heat. The audience warmly welcomed their fellow countrymen Uma2rman — the artists sang together with ZOLOTO. Olga Buzova and nkeeei presented the track "The Same", and later the singer was presented with a jersey of the Torpedo hockey club. Right at the stage, a young man decided to propose to his girlfriend — the role of the star matchmaker was played by Prokhor Chaliapin. For the first time outside the capitals, the electronic stage of Radio Record opened and a fashion show was held on the cosplay stage.

VK Fest is the largest entertainment open-air in Russia. It has been held since 2015. The festival has twice set a record for the number of musical performers and the amount of entertainment on the site. Throughout its existence, VK Fest has been held in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sirius, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladivostok, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk and Ufa.
