- The Knyazz band honored the memory of Mikhail Gorshenev with a concert in St. Petersburg
On July 19, a concert of the Knyazz group was held in St. Petersburg in honor of the anniversary of the death of Mikhail Gorshenev, the lead singer of the King and the Fool, where fans of the group heard their favorite songs again.
Traditionally, for many years, the Knyazz band, led by Andrey Knyazev, has been performing the King and the Fool repertoire in order to honor the memory of a friend and a legendary artist together with the fans. Gorshenev passed away on July 19, 2013.
"These are symbolic two concerts on July 19 and August 7, they have a certain moral burden. Of course, the approach to them is different, not as always," explained Andrey Knyazev, leader of the Knyazz group.
The most touching moment of the St. Petersburg performance was the song "The Bear", when only Mikhail Gorshenev's voice and instruments sounded from the stage. Thousands of lights lit up in the hall. The second memorable concert will be held in Moscow on August 7, the birthday of the Pot.
The Fly Away music Festival on July 13 in Udmurtia gathered thousands of Russian rock fans: five days, three stages, more than 120 musical groups and a family atmosphere. The audience, who came to Fly Away for the first time, called the atmosphere unreal and noted the complete immersion in the world of music.
