On February 19, US President Donald Trump personally presented the main trophy of the World Cup to the Spanish national team, which defeated the Argentine team.

The head of the International Football Federation Gianni Infantino attended the award ceremony, as well as all three leaders of the host countries of the tournament: Trump, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

After that, Trump and Infantino brought the main trophy, the World Cup, onto the field. Trump presented the award to the winning captain, Rodrigo Hernandez, personally, after which he congratulated the other players of the Spanish national team, lingering on the podium for a few minutes.
