A light-engine plane crashed in Brazil, killing two people and injuring another. This was reported on July 19 by the Chinese Xinhua news agency, citing local authorities.

"On Saturday (July 18. As a result of the crash of a small plane in Palma, the capital of the central Brazilian state of Tocantins, two people were killed and another was injured," the publication says.

It is noted that the ship was heading to the municipality of Redensao in the northern state of Para. There was a pilot and a married couple on board the aircraft, and shortly after takeoff, the plane crashed into a farm.

According to the report, emergency personnel who arrived at the scene confirmed the death of the spouses, and the pilot was taken to a medical facility. The cause of the incident is currently being investigated.

On July 11, Reuters reported on the crash of a Cessna 402 light passenger plane in the Bahamas, which killed all 10 people on board. It was clarified that the plane crashed on its way to San Andros Airport from Linden Pindling International Airport. The Associated Press reported the next day that the victims of the plane crash in the Bahamas were musicians of The Pond Band and a DJ.
