The beloved of Lercek (Valeria Chekalina), choreographer Luis Squicciarini, spoke about their joint leisure time during the blogger's next course of chemotherapy. All the details are in the Izvestia article.

Support of Lerchek from relatives

On July 16, Squicciarini posted a post on Instagram (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) in which he described how the couple spends their free time while Chekalina undergoes another course of chemotherapy.

First, Lercek's chosen one presented her with a bouquet of peony-shaped roses in honor of completing the course of chemotherapy. After that, he posted footage of watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup together. In the video, the blogger appeared with an ultra-short haircut, sitting on the couch and rejoicing at Argentina's victory in the semifinal match.

Valeria Chekalina's health status

Squicciarini announced on July 15 that Chekalina had completed her ninth and final course of chemotherapy. According to him, this is not the end of treatment: to finally defeat the disease, the blogger will have to undergo regular immune and targeted therapy every two weeks.

"I want to say that I am proud of Leroy. She's just great, she's always smiling, always positive, even when she has little energy, even when she's having a hard time. She's always there," Squicciarini said.

Fighting the disease and returning to activity

Chekalina is fighting stage IV stomach cancer, diagnosed at the Blokhin Oncology Center. Initially, the symptoms were associated with renal colic. After the completion of radiation therapy, doctors are allowed moderate physical activity, and the blogger is engaged in Argentine tango again.

"For me, tango is not just a dance, it's movement, it's music, it's life, it's my way of healing," Chekalina shared.

Criminal case and new projects

In parallel with the treatment, the investigation into the illegal transfer of more than 250 million rubles abroad continues. The Gagarin Court of Moscow allowed Chekalina to change her residence address, but the issue of reopening the case has been postponed. The family fully paid off the tax debt in the amount of 175 million rubles, selling the mansion for these purposes.

Despite the therapy, Valeria launched the women's clothing brand LEA. She personally participated in the development of the collection at all stages of treatment. This project allows the blogger to remain professionally active and support other women.
