UK to check data on mass poisoning in Novoselitskiy district in Stavropol region
The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia is conducting an investigation into the mass poisoning of people in a hotel complex in the Stavropol Territory. This was reported on July 17 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.
"In the Alexandrovsky interdistrict investigative Department of the SU IC of Russia in the Stavropol Territory, a procedural check has been organized on this fact on the grounds of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements for the life and health of consumers")," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that some victims required hospitalization. The operation of the hotel complex has been temporarily suspended until all verification activities are completed.
A source from Izvestia reported on July 16 that four children became ill at the Pionerskaya metro station in St. Petersburg. The children had seizures and signs of possible poisoning. Their ages ranged from 9 to 14 years old.
