The Air defense forces eliminated five Ukrainian drones in the sky over the Leningrad region

Air defense systems destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over the Leningrad region. This was announced on July 18 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.

"Five UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Leningrad region," the message in the Maks messenger says.

Drozdenko added that the combat work continues.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.
