Axios has learned about the US plans to send dozens of tanker planes to Israel

The United States plans to transfer dozens of tanker planes to Israel due to the possible expansion of the operation against Iran. This was reported on July 17 by the Axios portal, citing American and Israeli officials.

"The administration of [American Leader Donald] Trump has notified Israel that he is sending dozens more tanker planes to the country ahead of a possible expansion of military operations against Iran," the publication says.

According to the portal, there are about 30 American tanker planes at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. Approximately the same number of aircraft are located at Ramon Airport in southern Israel.

It is specified that the American country intends to increase the number of aircraft to the level of the outbreak of war with Iran.

On July 10, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Zolgadr, warned Israel against joining the US strikes on the Islamic Republic's infrastructure. According to him, attacks on Iran will provoke retaliatory measures.
