In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, a paraglider was injured when an aircraft collided with a power line. A source told Izvestia about this on July 17.

The incident occurred in the Nadym district. According to preliminary information, the engine of the motorized glider failed during the flight. As a result of a collision with a power line, a 30-year-old woman received electric shock burns and was hospitalized. The instructor flying the aircraft was not injured.

The Transport Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.

According to preliminary data, the tragedy occurred in the morning on the 765th km of the section between Vasilyevo and Atlashkino stations of the Gorky railway.
